Environmental stewardship and minimum impact solutions have long been a part
of Infield’s day-to-day work practices.

Infield’s involvement and expertise in this area has included taking part in work
designed to combat the formation of acid sulphate soils on the lower reaches
of the River Murray.

This project arose during the final years of an extreme drought event, the
consequences of which had been of grave concern to environmentalists and
the local farming community, alike. These concerns are just as valid today.

Infield Environmental has expanded its interests into large scale tree planting
and has taken on many smaller environmental projects such as weed control,
fencing and fire control measures in the various National Parks in the Mt Lofty Ranges, the Riverland, Mallee and Lower Lakes regions.
