Noora Basin environmental update

Once again, Infield was given the opportunity to continue its long term environmental work this winter, as favoured contractor for prominent environmental contractors, Environments by Design.

Some 30,000 trees were planted in the space of 9 days, including guarding and watering. Like many other farming districts of South Australia, the Noora Basin is still desperate for rain and with the ground conditions so exceptionally dry, it will be necessary to undertake a second watering in a few weeks time to ensure the success of this stage of the project.

It has been an immensely satisfying experience to re-vegetate this otherwise highly degraded land and to have the opportunity to leave our permanent mark in the region.
